Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter/Laborer to join our team. As a Painter/Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to painting and general labor duties. Duties: - Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks - Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers - Mix and match colors to achieve desired results - Repair damaged drywall, masonry, or plaster surfaces - Use power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks - Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective equipment - Assist with general labor duties as needed, such as cleaning work areas or moving materials Skills: - Proficiency in airless paint spraying techniques - Knowledge of construction painting methods and materials - Basic carpentry skills for frame construction and remodeling projects - Ability to read and interpret schematics or blueprints - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently - Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience.
